Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care with a focus on cardiac patients experiencing heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and vasoactive drugs with zero titration, ensuring patient stability and comfort.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for accurate patient assessment and response actions.
• Manage pre and post cardiac catheterization patients, ensuring complete care throughout procedures.
• Operate and maintain complex equipment like BiPAP/CPAP machines, ensuring proper respiratory support.
• Participate actively in Rapid Response and Code Teams to address urgent clinical situations effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac PCU experience with proficiency in a 1:5 nurse-patient ratio environment.
• First-time travelers and those with previous charge experience are encouraged to apply.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory, with NIHSS preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records and related workflows.
• Experience with procedural sedation and effective management of dysrhythmias required.
• Prepared to pass a mandatory EKG exam; study materials not provided.
