Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

This position requires a 10-hour day shift, typically from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role includes one day of call per week from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM and approximately one weekend per month for 24-hour call.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages. This role is crucial in ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery, including assessments and education.
• Assist in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and proper instrumentation.
• Monitor patients during surgery and provide immediate postoperative care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective patient care.
• Utilize robotic surgery equipment, including Da Vinci and Mako robots, for procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with robotic surgeries and various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery, and ENT.
