Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension to 26 weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Work Type: Hybrid (local candidates required) Overview Seeking an experienced Performance Improvement Consultant to support ambulatory access and operational improvement initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This role partners with leadership and operational teams to improve patient access, optimize workflows, and drive Lean-based performance improvement strategies. Responsibilities Lead Lean and A3-based improvement initiatives Partner with leadership on strategic operational goals Facilitate large-scale access and performance improvement projects Coach leaders and teams on Lean methodologies and change management Develop and deliver training related to operational excellence and patient access Establish sustainable workflows and management systems Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Engineering, Science, or related field 7+ years of performance improvement experience OR 5+ years of healthcare experience plus 3+ years in leadership/performance improvement Experience facilitating training and coaching teams Lean Certification required Preferred Qualifications Healthcare industry experience Experience working with senior leadership Six Sigma, Change Management, or EPIC Cadence certifications preferred Skills Lean/process improvement expertise Strong facilitation and project management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Data analysis and Microsoft Office proficiency
