Join our dynamic team at Pierces Pitt Bar B Que as a Baker, where your passion for baking meets our commitment to quality and flavor. In this role, you will create delicious baked goods that enhance our renowned barbecue offerings and delight our customers in Williamsburg, VA. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts.
- Ensure consistency in product quality and presentation by following established recipes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized baking station in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods during shifts.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
