Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). 4 weekend shifts per month, mandatory on-call twice a month. Must work most holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced.
• Ability to use external fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Must be able to circulate for C-section.
• Must be willing to float if needed to Perinatal.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist in delivery and post-partum care.
• Effectively communicate through SBAR and utilize Omnicell and eMD Allscripts systems.

Compliance / Notes

All requested time off must be submitted upon application; it cannot change once submitted, except for cancellations. No RTO allowed in the first two weeks of the assignment. A maximum of 3 days RTO is allowed.
