Associate Vice President for Facilities Management

the client is seeking an Associate Vice President for Facilities Management to provide strategic and operational leadership for a comprehensive facilities function. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, this role oversees building maintenance, utilities, grounds, space management, leasing, and custodial services to support a safe, efficient, and high-quality campus environment. The AVPFM provides executive leadership to multidisciplinary teams and drives continuous improvement by aligning facilities operations with institutional priorities while promoting accountability, collaboration, and service excellence. the AVPFM partners with university leadership and external stakeholders to develop policies, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and support long-term planning. This includes contributing to infrastructure capacity and capital initiatives, and helping shape the overall campus experience through effective facilities and service delivery. The role is expected to champion sustainability and efficiency while maintaining high standards in custodial operations and across campus service functions. the client will support candidates who are passionate about facilities management and committed to exceptional service.
