About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: • Experience with High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) • Experience with BIPAP • Skilled in stable medication management • Experience with post-operative care for CABG, AVR, and MVR • Experience with cardiovascular and vascular conditions • Experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair • Experience with lobectomy and carotid endarterectomy (CEA) • Knowledge of NSTEMI, STEMI, and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) • Ability to manage patients with pacemakers, sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) • Experience with post diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) care • Knowledge of respiratory failure management • Experience with tracheostomy care Description: This position is for a 30-bed step-down unit. The role requires floating between critical care service lines. Candidates must possess relevant clinical experience. Expertise in managing diverse cardiovascular conditions is essential. Hands-on experience in post-operative care is required. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
