Position Title Bookstore Customer Service Associate – Part‑time, Casual Wage. Job Summary Seeking to hire bookstore customer service associates to work in various departments providing customer service on the sales floor or by phone, stocking merchandise, processing transactions through the register, receiving, returns, pulling textbook orders and other areas as assigned. Appointment limited to 999 hours per year; exceeding this may result in termination. Responsibilities Work at the register. Assist with general books, textbooks, gift wing, and general merchandise. Assist with stocking, receiving, returns, and pulling textbook orders. Qualifications Excellent customer service skills. Flexible schedule; availability on weekends. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to learn Point of Sale (POS) and inventory systems. Ability to work collegially with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students. Physical Requirements Stand for long periods (up to 6 hours). Look at a screen for long periods (up to 6 hours). Climb stairs. Lifting up to 30 pounds.
