Job Description Under general supervision, the Data Specialist 2 is responsible for providing administrative support for a database which supports a system. Responsibilities Performs a variety of advanced administrative and support services for a database which supports a system. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. Organizes and enters data into appropriate databases. Maintains and ensures the integrity and security of one or more databases. Trains other staff as users of the system. Extracts data as needed for reporting requirements. Imports data as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Ideal Candidate Profile A versatile, patient and provider-facing professional who brings high accountability and a calm under-pressure demeanor to our pediatric referral pipeline. This individual will manage critical scheduling and family communications, utilizing strong organization and meticulous documentation skills. Requirements include advanced proficiency in Excel and swift navigation of computer systems, with Epic experience considered a major asset. This position requires an adaptable self-starter who can multi-task, pivot between various tasks effortlessly, and contribute immediately on day one.
