Mainline Auto Service Technician at Toyota Buena Park - Pay $37-$42

Position Overview AutoNation is looking for a Mainline Auto Service Technician at Toyota Buena Park, CA to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through quality service. Responsibilities Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Diagnose and repair malfunctions and, when authorized by the customer, complete necessary repairs. Conduct multi‑point inspections and make safety and reliability recommendations. Communicate with the parts department and service advisors to manage production and customer communication. Document work performed on each vehicle on repair orders. Maintain an inventory of technician tools and keep inventory records. Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training. Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician. Automotive technical training (varies by store needs). Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record. Attention to detail, organization, and follow‑up skills. Ability to work collaboratively with customers, service advisors, technicians, parts associates, and management.
