We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations. This role will be responsible for managing a team to ensure efficient workflow across all related departments, with a strong focus on inbound receiving, replenishments, truck and pallet builds for the shipping season, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, dedicated to maximizing workforce productivity, maintaining accurate inventory, and enforcing strict safety protocols. Role and Responsibilities :
- Train, manage, and evaluate warehouse and seasonal staff.
- Conduct new employee orientation, setting expectations and safety guidelines.
- Assign daily tasks and workloads to warehouse associates.
- Monitor and improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of operations.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance.
- Cross-train team members for better department coverage.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate inventory.
- Utilize Microsoft D365 to support warehouse operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
- Strong Leadership and communication skills
- Basic inventory and warehouse operations knowledge
- Ability to operate machinery, i.e. forklifts and pallet jacks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and WMS
- Lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods
- Work in various temperatures and conditions
- Problem-solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn
