Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring every dish is flavorful and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment, fostering a spirit of teamwork.
- Assist in the daily preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating, to ensure readiness for service.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both staff and guests.
- Contribute to menu development by providing feedback and suggestions for new dishes, embracing creativity and innovation.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, supporting a culture of respect and collaboration within the kitchen team.
- Experience in preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Proven track record of maintaining cleanliness and organization in a kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Skill in ingredient preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating, to support efficient service.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with the kitchen manager on stock levels and ingredient needs.
- Creativity and willingness to contribute ideas for menu development and new dishes.
