Job Description

What you'll do:


• Operate a 53' Dry van safely
• Hauling: carpet and home improvement stores
• Freight Handling: off load by hand light carpet pads
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections
• Keep equipment clean and presentable
• Verify paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Driver departs on Sunday afternoon (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM) for a 2-day route, returning Tuesday
• Driver departs again on Thursday and returns home by Saturday
• Driver runs another route Sunday evening following required reset
• Routes include deliveries to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Utah
• Hauls full trailers (or multiple trailers depending on load)
• Delivers to carpet and home improvement store locations
• Driver is responsible for unloading rolls of carpet padding at each stop


Qualifications & Experience


What you'll need:


• 1 year of Class A driving experience
• Valid Class A License and Medical Card
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• No DUI/DWI convictions that are less than 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years OR no more than 1 moving violation and 1 accident in the last 3 years
• 22 years of age or older
