- Develop and coach Guides to implement Alpha's coaching framework with precision, enthusiasm, and unwavering standards.
- Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, focus, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students following established playbooks.
- Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to surface coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and produce quantifiable progress weekly.
- Conduct motivation sessions that empower every student to commit to ambitious objectives and reliably accomplish them.
- Lead your own student cohort while demonstrating the coaching quality and accountability you require from all Guides.
- Delivering academic instruction. Students advance through core academics autonomously via AI-powered learning platforms.
- Developing lesson plans or educational curriculum. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not producing instructional content.
- Controlling classrooms using lectures, worksheets, or behavioral systems. Students drive their own learning, and you coach the practices that enable success.
- Reducing standards to sidestep challenging discussions. Elevated expectations and authentic belief in each student's capacity are inseparable.
- Evaluating success through activity volume rather than impact. Outcomes outweigh effort alone.
- Willing to work on campus in Dallas, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; or The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation support provided).
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

- Demonstrated success managing a team of five or more people, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and difficult accountability conversations.
- Experience working directly with children ages 5-14 in an educational, developmental, athletic, or youth leadership setting.
- Track record of building, launching, scaling, or significantly improving a program, team, school, business, or initiative.
- Proven ability to use performance metrics and data to diagnose problems, prioritize actions, and deliver measurable results.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Experience coaching athletics, leading outdoor or experiential education, directing camps, youth programs, or other cohort-based organizations.
- Experience building or leading innovative education, EdTech, tutoring, nonprofit, or learning programs outside traditional classroom teaching.
- Personal history of exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or leadership.
- Strong conviction that education should develop capable, resilient, independent young people rather than simply deliver academic content.
The most powerful support you can offer a child who earned 99% is to tell them they fell short of the standard.
Not because perfection is the goal. Because holding someone to a higher standard is one of the most respectful things you can do.
Traditional schools shield students from setbacks. Alpha equips them for achievement. We understand that confidence doesn't emerge from reduced expectations. It develops when students accomplish what they previously believed impossible. This principle informs everything we do.
Our approach is intentionally distinct. Students progress through academics autonomously using AI-driven learning platforms, which allows adults to concentrate on what truly transforms outcomes: coaching character development, cultivating resilience, nurturing leadership capacity, and establishing the patterns that produce exceptional results. We don't require adults to transmit information. We need leaders capable of drawing out excellence in others.
This position anchors that mission. You'll develop the Guides who engage directly with students, transforming them into outstanding coaches instead of traditional instructors. You'll facilitate life skills workshops that resonate with students long after completion. You'll analyze performance metrics to pinpoint where students or Guides need support and guide them toward excellence. You'll also maintain your own student cohort, embodying the standards you establish for others.
The multiplier effect is substantial. Each Guide you develop impacts dozens of students. Every enhancement you introduce to campus culture amplifies across hundreds of young lives. Success isn't defined by meeting attendance or documentation volume. It's determined by whether students grow more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable through the culture you've cultivated.
This isn't a position for someone committed to maintaining conventional education structures. It's designed for someone who believes young people merit more than compliance, attendance requirements, and modest expectations. If you're motivated by guiding people through challenging growth, leveraging data to inform decisions, and upholding rigorous standards because you truly believe in others' potential, this environment will suit you.
Apply if you're prepared to establish a culture where excellence is the baseline, coaching transforms trajectories, and students realize capabilities they never imagined possible.
