SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC WANTED

Rude Boy Small Engine Repair is growing, and we're looking for a dependable Small Engine Mechanic who knows their way around engines, isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, and wants an opportunity to grow with us.

We're not looking for someone who just changes a spark plug and calls themselves a mechanic.

We want someone who can diagnose the problem, figure out what caused it, and fix it right.

PAY & GUARANTEED OPPORTUNITIES FOR RAISES

Starting Pay: $15.00/hour

We believe good work should be rewarded. As you prove yourself, your pay increases quickly:

Starting Day: $15.00/hour
After 30 Days: $16.00/hour
After 60 Days: $17.00/hour
After 90 Days: $18.00/hour
After 6 Months: $19.00/hour
After 1 Year: $20.00/hour

Raises are based on satisfactory job performance, dependability, attendance, and continued employment.

That's a $5/hour increase available during your first year.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You'll diagnose, service, and repair equipment including:

• Zero-turn, riding, and walk-behind lawn mowers
• Commercial landscaping equipment
• Chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and tillers
• Generators and pressure washers
• Go-karts and mini bikes
• Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, Honda, and similar engines
• Electrical, fuel, ignition, charging, starting, and mechanical systems

One day you might be rebuilding a carburetor. The next you could be chasing an electrical problem on a zero-turn or figuring out why an engine has compression, spark, and fuel but still refuses to cooperate.

That's why we're hiring a mechanic — not a parts changer.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous small-engine experience is preferred, but we're also interested in people with mechanical experience in automotive, powersports, diesel, agricultural equipment, or similar fields.

You should be:

• Mechanically inclined
• Dependable and on time
• Able to troubleshoot rather than simply replace parts
• Comfortable using common shop tools
• Familiar with basic electrical diagnosis
• Able to follow repair procedures and specifications
• Able to safely operate and move riding mowers and zero-turn equipment
• Capable of keeping your work area organized
• Willing to learn
• Able to work independently as your experience increases
• Proud of the work you put your name on

Experience with John Deere, STIHL, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, Honda, Exmark, Husqvarna, Craftsman, Toro, or Coleman equipment is a plus.
