Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

We are seeking an experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac care and be capable of providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details:

• Role: Registered Nurse
• Department: Telemetry
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care setting, with experience in telemetry or cardiac care.
• Required Skills: Proficiency with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo monitoring equipment.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Cerner documentation system.

Unit Information:

• Bed Capacity: 24 beds
• Patient Ratios: Typically 4:1
• Common Diagnoses: Chest pain, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, and pre & post-care for cardiac catheterizations.
• Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly.

Additional Notes:

The ideal candidate will possess a friendly, family-oriented demeanor, as this unit values a collaborative and supportive work environment. Occasionally, the nurse may be required to float to intermediate care units.
