Community Manager - Part Time

Community Manager Location: Linton Apartments – Linton, IN 47441 Job Type: Part Time – 20 hours a week Wallick Communities is a 100% employee‑owned company with more than 55 years of experience providing affordable housing and assisted living to families and seniors. As a Community Manager, you will lead a team, manage finances, and ensure residents receive exceptional service. Benefits Pay‑on‑Demand, access to earned wages Health, dental and vision insurance effective within two weeks Additional benefits: gym membership reimbursement, paid parental leave, 401(k), tuition reimbursement Paid time off and work‑life balance Professional development and career growth opportunities What You’ll Do People Leadership Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to provide a great resident experience Process community staff payroll Financial Responsibility Collect all rent and deposit funds into the community account Process community invoices for payment Purchase and maintain sufficient supplies for the community Community and Resident Focus Maintain occupancy rates of at least 98% Maintain positive relationships with community owners and residents Review and approve rental applications Operational Excellence Complete move‑out paperwork per governing regulations Perform unit move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections Audit resident files to ensure completeness before supervisor review Complete required reports for government agencies, administrators, or the company Maintain the community to company standards Perform other related duties as assigned What We’re Looking For 1+ year experience as a residential property manager, or 3+ years in a general manager or similar role with strong people leadership and process management experience; HUD/Section 8 experience a plus High school diploma, associate’s degree a plus; COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM training an advantage Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Commitment to excellent resident service Deadline‑driven, detail oriented, compliant, and quality focused Computer skilled with fluency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience a plus Wallick’s Mission & Values Care – Compassion and respect for everyone Character – Do the right thing, even when no one is looking Collaboration – Work together to achieve more Wallick does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or any other non‑merit‑based factor. *Employment is contingent upon passing a pre‑employment background check and drug screen. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wallick Communities
