This inpatient facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality care delivery for an adult patient population. Shifts are structured primarily on a day shift basis, with night shift coverage also available. Clinical operations are conducted on-site in accordance with standard hospitalist program protocols.

The city offers clinicians on assignment a range of attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. Highlights include the River Walk, SeaWorld, the San Antonio Zoo, and multiple art and specialty museums. Venues throughout the area host concerts, Broadway performances, comedy shows, and sporting events, with additional options including an aquarium, amusement parks, guided tours, and culinary experiences - including a recognized Tex-Mex and diverse food scene - available year-round.

Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage on an on-site basis, with shifts available during both day and night hours and a primary focus on day shift coverage. Nurse Practitioners must hold Acute Care certification as a condition of consideration for this assignment. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens position.
