Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Lead Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. This dynamic role combines administrative leadership, financial oversight, and team supervision to ensure a smooth, efficient, and compliant dental environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive dental office management experience, strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, and exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
• Supervise and support administrative staff, including training, performance evaluations, and team development to maintain high standards of service
• Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, coding accuracy, insurance claims processing, and revenue cycle management using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy rules, JCAHO standards, and state/federal health policies
• Maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic while safeguarding patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with clinical staff to support medical management activities and ensure smooth integration of administrative functions with clinical care
• Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance operational productivity and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, EHR/Epic systems, and dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
• Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and managed care processes
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO accreditation standards, and health policy compliance
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Prior experience in acute care or hospital environments is advantageous but not required
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in medical administrative support tasks
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies like EMR/EHR systems and stay current with healthcare industry best practices
