Our growing team of professionals across North America represents a broad, deep and one-of-a-kind aggregation of entrepreneurs and leaders recognized for their excellence throughout the insurance community.The OpportunityThe Senior & Individual Services Consultant supports clients in effectively managing their medical and life insurance plans.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstablishes and maintains strong business relationships with clients and insurance carriers.Performs financial analysis.Writes Medical Plans (Quote, Present, Place Coverage): Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Part-D, Individual & Family Medical Plans (off exchange), Dental, Vision, International Travel, Expatriate Medical, Life Insurance.Critically analyzes and compares insurance plans to determine suitability.Responsible for strategic planning of all clients and overall retention of accounts.Educates employees regarding Medicare.Generates professional client and carrier correspondence.Maintains accurate and organized account files by appropriately documenting conversations with clients and carrier representatives; updates all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems; ensures the accuracy of data.Provides training as a subject-matter-expert to other Client Services team members on various topics.Provides support to other employees within the department.Performs other duties and projects as assigned.QualificationsHigh School / GED2+ years of related compliant Medicare insurance sales and service experienceLife & Health LicenseAHIP CertifiedContracted with various Medicare CarriersSpanish speaking preferredKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesComprehensive knowledge of carrier strengths and networks.Ability to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing with internal and external customers.Desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry.Ability to respond to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, and handle difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and accurately.Confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.Ability to efficiently gather pertinent information and facts, analyze and solve problems timely and thoroughly.Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.Critical Thinking: Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsThis position primarily involves remaining in a stationary position for the majority of the workday.The person in this position frequently communicates with colleagues and clients both in person and on the telephone; must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Why Choose HUB?Throughout our network of more than 450 HUB offices in North America, we offer a competitive, exciting and friendly work environment that strategically positions our employees for longevity and success.
