Powder Springs Center for Nursing & Healing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nursing leader who is ready to grow, develop, and take the next step in their leadership career.

With 24 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, we actively promote from within and support leaders who want to advance.

If you have 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting—whether as a Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or ADON—we would be happy to speak with you.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating comprehensive nursing care
• Implementing specialized clinical procedures and programs
• Collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on departmental goals
• Ensuring compliance with operational policies and state and federal regulations

Key Duties

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compliant resident care
• Participate in the nursing home survey process
• Oversee infection control and quality assurance initiatives
• Supervise, mentor, and train nursing staff
• Organize and support in-service education and training programs

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
• Strong team orientation and communication skills
• Infection Prevention experience preferred
• Experience training and educating staff

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Alternating weekend on-call rotation
