ResponsibilitiesPediatrix Medical Group is seeking an Experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our pediatric inpatient and critical care team at Summerville Medical Center (SMC)-just 30 minutes from Charleston! Your Clinical Scope 6-bed PICU Level III NICU support Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults In-house days, home call at night Teaching opportunities teaching: a family medicine residency program is now in its third year with residents participating about half of the year, 4.5 days per week Procedures include: intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1 Opportunity Highlights Work life balance Schedule: flexible call schedule to accommodate family and personal needs Comprehensive benefits which include medical, dental, vision, and 401k (Starts day 1!)
