Developer Advocate

About the Role With the recent launch of our developer platform, Notion is entering a new phase. We’re looking for our first Developer Advocate to empower and grow our global community of developers. What You’ll Achieve Become the voice of the developer community at Notion, building and supporting strong relationships between developers and our Product and Engineering teams. Build and publish engaging content—demos, guides, API reference material, and blog posts—and amplify community‑created content through Notion Devs channels. Own Notion’s strategy and presence at hackathons, developer conferences, and events to drive activation among top AI builders. Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business Development to improve APIs that impact the developer community. Manage key developer channels (Slack, X, developer docs) to keep the community engaged and updated on roadmap and releases. Partner with marketing and sales to help them understand how developer features can provide value to customers. Skills You’ll Need Solid technical background with a strong presence in the developer community. Exceptional communication skills, adept at interfacing with individual developers and large audiences. Experience building from 0 to 1 and owning a program that grows as a pillar of the company. Creative mindset and interest in business opportunities from the Developer Platform. Experience rallying internal stakeholders and project managing on a deadline, particularly with engineering teams. Curiosity about AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results. Nice to Haves Previous experience as a developer advocate, engineer, or PM at a company where API is critical to growth. Compensation Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
