Physical Therapist
The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans to improve patients mobility and functional ability across various healthcare settings. This role involves supervising therapy services, collaborating with medical teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities.
- Supervise and evaluate therapy services provided by support staff.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Comply with all state licensing, accreditation, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
- Possess a current California Physical Therapy License.
- Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS Certification approved by the AHA.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in acute care, swing bed, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings.
- Pass the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE).
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
