Production & Quality Control Assistant (Bilingual)

First Shift - Monday through Friday Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Overview

Special Service Plastic is seeking a reliable, hands-on Production & Quality Control Assistant to support our plastic extrusion manufacturing operations. This role works closely with the Plant Manager and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily housekeeping standards on the production floor, including organization of raw materials, tools, supplies, and scrap.
• Review and collect quality inspection documentation to support daily production goals.
• Ensure the facility stays clean, orderly, and aligned with safety and quality expectations.
• Manage tooling inventory and maintenance, including cleaning, polishing, and organizing dies, jigs, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Assist with die setup, removal, and installation, including first-piece inspection and verification.
• Operate and set up various production equipment such as saws, cutters, drill presses, and other supporting machinery.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with production staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
• Support the management team with additional production-related tasks as needed.

This role is part of a fast-paced manufacturing operation with daily production and quality targets. Strong attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to good manufacturing practices are essential for success.
