Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Role Provides direct nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on neurological, surgical, and medical patients. Uses standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life. Builds effective relationships and advocates for patients and families to develop personalized care plans. Implements the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Considers physical, cultural, social, economic, and spiritual factors in care strategies. Collaborates with interprofessional teams and communicates effectively to ensure holistic, ethical, and culturally sensitive care. Educates patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures. Mentors colleagues and applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs. Performs point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least one year of RN experience. Skills & Requirements Strong communication, leadership, and assessment skills; physical ability to perform clinical duties; valid state nursing license; BLS certification. Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive movements required.
