Job Title: General Manager - Tradeshow Location: Orlando, FL 32837 Salary: $100,000 We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of our Orlando location. As General Manager, you will lead a team of 30+ employees and manage all aspects of tradeshow contracting operations to deliver exceptional events. You will play a crucial role in achieving financial goals, maintaining client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management Lead and manage a team of 30+ employees across operations, sales, and administrative functions. Foster a positive and accountable team culture focused on collaboration and growth. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management processes to maintain a high-performing workforce. Operations Management Ensure all projects and tradeshows are executed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Optimize workflows, processes, and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to safety standards. Client Relations and Sales Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in the Orlando market, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth. Address client concerns promptly, maintaining a reputation for exceptional service. Financial Oversight Manage budgets and ensure profitability targets are met for the Orlando location. Monitor financial performance through regular reporting and analysis. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high service standards. Strategic Planning and Collaboration Align local operations with the company's strategic goals and initiatives. Collaborate with other General Managers to share best practices and drive innovation. Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence in Orlando and the surrounding areas. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of management experience, ideally in event production, tradeshow contracting, or a similar industry. Skills and Abilities Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence and client satisfaction. Additional Requirements Knowledge of the tradeshow or event production industry is highly preferred.
