Senior Accountant

This is a hybrid job, which requires two - three days per week in office at our Coppell, TX office. Remote work is available for the other days per week. We are seeking an experienced and self-directed Senior Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, including full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable. This role works closely with vendors, customers, dealers, and internal teams, and requires someone who communicates clearly and professionally over email and phone, manages their own workload, and can operate with minimal supervision. This position is ideal for someone with near-controller-level experience who enjoys owning the numbers end to end — someone who doesn't just process transactions, but spots problems, resolves them, and keeps the books clean and close-ready every month. Responsibilities Own full-cycle accounts payable: vendor invoice entry, coding, approvals, payment runs, and vendor communication in QuickBooks Online Own full-cycle accounts receivable: customer invoicing, payment application, aging review, and proactive collections outreach Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and customer billing inquiries, responding to emails promptly and professionally Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis Monitor invoice and data syncing between QuickBooks Online and internal CRM systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies independently Manage monthly inventory tracking and reconciliation Prepare AR/AP aging reports, cash flow summaries, and other financial reporting for leadership Identify and recommend process improvements to strengthen accounting workflows and controls Support and help train accounting support staff as needed Qualifications Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant hands-on AR and AP ownership Minimum 3 years experience using QuickBooks Online required; advanced proficiency expected Experience supporting or leading monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable working directly with customers, vendors, and internal teams Strong judgment and ability to work independently, prioritize, and follow through without close supervision High attention to detail with a track record of accuracy in high-volume environments Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based businesses a plus Compensation and Benefits Salary DOE 80% employer-paid medical premiums dental and vision insurance 2 weeks (10 days) vacation/PTO + 1 week (5 days) sick leave annually 10 paid holidays per year 4% employer 401(k) match with immediate vesting Hybrid work, part time remote work from home available #J-18808-Ljbffr Spaceman
