TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Kansas City, Missouri, 64101!

Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts/ Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule period)
7P-7A, 48 hrs GTE is an option

Requirements

Patient Experience requirements: 2 years ICU experience, prefer ICU experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required, preferred but not required- TNCC)

Floating policy: To like units: NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central) Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED Inpatient Overflow, other units as per overall hospital needs

Requested Skill Set:  Trauma patient management, IV administration of vasoactive medications, ventilator management, chest tube management, care of post-op surgical patients, cardiac rhythm identification and management, hemodynamic monitoring, care of stroke patient

Must have: Advanced skills needed: Hemodynamic and ventilator management

Documentation system: Meditech
Procedures performed on unit: Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line and central line placement
