Locations: Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Toano, and Richmond, Virginia.

Inclusive Living Solutions, LLC is seeking CNAs, Home Health Aides, Personal Care Assistants, Medication Aides, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Nurses, experienced caregivers, individuals, couples, and families interested in welcoming an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability into their home.

This is a residential hosting opportunity, not a traditional hourly caregiving position.

$48,000 to $144,000+ annually per individual supported , depending on the individual's support needs, provider qualifications, experience, and agreed rental payments.

A maximum of 2 individuals receiving services may reside in each approved home.

The approval process typically takes 4-6 weeks before an individual can move into your home , depending on training completion and home inspection readiness.

Required training must be completed before placement (2 weeks to complete).

• Training is unpaid .
• 8hrs of training is conducted in Hampton, Virginia, and the rest is virtual.
• Majority of the training is asynchronous, online, and may be completed on your own time.

Required certifications and training include:

• 32 hour Medication Administration course, unless licensed in Virginia to administer medications
• CPR and First Aid
• Human Rights and Serious Incident Reporting
• Additional DBHDS and program specific training

Training is provided internally if you do not already hold valid certifications. Existing certifications may shorten the onboarding process.

All requirements below are mandatory:

• Home must qualify for a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) from the city. Homes built before 1973 may experience difficulty obtaining one. We will request this information for you but if one is not on file you will need to follow up with the city to pay the fee and obtain the necessary inspection.
• Renters: Landlord must approve subleasing a room and receiving rent from the individual. Verbal approval is required initially, followed by written permission using our provided template.
• All household members 18 and older must pass background checks and Central Registry screenings.
• Home must pass required environmental and safety inspections.

Homeowners and applicants with previous residential caregiving experience are strongly preferred.

Provide individualized support to adults with disabilities, including but not limited to autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing daily care, supervision, and a safe home environment
• Assisting with personal care, medications, and daily routines
• Supporting independence, life skills, and community participation
• Completing daily electronic documentation using Therap
• Collaborating with agency staff, nurses, and behavioral professionals
• Coordinating approved backup providers when needed

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to complete electronic documentation
• Successful required screenings and home inspection
• Financial stability

Preferred: CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, Medication Aide, LPN, RN, or residential caregiving experience; previous DBHDS sponsored residential approval; and single story homes.

Applicants must be able to complete around 40 hours of unpaid training , obtain a Certificate of Occupancy, meet landlord requirements if renting, pass household background screenings, and demonstrate financial stability.
