OBGYN opening in Iowa - J1 eligible Located in Ottumwa, IA - just 80 miles from Des Moines! Service area of 125,000 people Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed position Joining an established and well-respected, hospital-affiliated practice Call will be a 10 day requirement (1 weekend) for the most part but the call at these locations is not onerous due to the low deliveries We do have APPs in the practices to help with clinic. Recruiting due to a strong community need There is regional and local access to all specialists Hospital has approximately 500-600 births per year 17 OBGYN beds and Level II Nursery da Vinci Surgical System allows the opportunity for building GYN surgery volumes* *J1 visa sponsorship available!** Compensation would be 1 yr guarantee with wRVU bonus and then go to wRVU production Starting in the $400k range Relocation up to $15k Student loan reimbursement (around $20k/yr) wRVU conversion factor may vary location to location but around $50 Quality bonus CME allowance Sign-on bonus - 75k Medical debt assistance Health benefits + Retirement plan Marketing + practice growth assistanceSome say Iowa has a fifth season.
