Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at the time of submission Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience Current acute care experience within the last 12 months BLS certification required Epic charting experience required ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education preferred/required per compliance standards Previous travel nursing experience preferred Ability to work rotating day and night assignments as needed Strong clinical skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and med/surg oncology care Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with oncology and telemetry needs Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Support patients receiving chemotherapy, symptom management, and treatment for complex medical conditions Administer IV therapies, blood products, and medications according to clinical protocols Manage central lines, PICC lines, ports, and other specialized access devices Perform ongoing assessment, documentation, and care coordination in Epic Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall reduction initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient patient care Assist with telemetry monitoring, respiratory support interventions, and unit-based clinical procedures as needed Float within med/surg oncology units when assigned Why Apply for This Columbus Nursing Job?
