Job Summary Our over the road drivers operate a truck transporting product to and from specified destinations. Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods to ensure timely service. Loads, secures, and unloads cargo as needed. Maintains contact with dispatch and receives instructions for scheduled delivery or pick up operations. Follow and abide by all DOT guidelines according to federal and state regulations. Responsible daily for vehicle inspection pre and post trip. Job Responsibilities Operates company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations. Operates trucks for the delivery, pickup based on schedule set forth by dispatch. Performs pre and post trip inspections and provides required reports. Provides professional customer service during delivery and pick up operations. Maintains all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. Maintain and protect all company property in excellent working condition. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business Live on road experience with driver trainer Real time ELD usage Job Requirements This job operates in a professional environment, and as such drivers are expected to be neat and presentable and represent the company in a curious and professional appearance and manner. Drivers can expect to be out several days per week and home most weekends. Drivers are assigned a sleeper cab vehicles and are expected to sleep in the vehicle several nights per week.
