Senior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Why we need you We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to maintain, enhance, and scale our AWS-based infrastructure. We develop and operate a state-of-the-art OSINT collection and processing SaaS platform. You will work with a mature IaC environment managing production systems, including Kubernetes clusters, MongoDB sharded deployments, message queues, and comprehensive monitoring solutions. What to expect Maintain and enhance Ansible playbooks and roles Manage AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters with KEDA-based event-driven autoscaling Administer sharded MongoDB clusters and Elasticsearch databases Manage RabbitMQ and Redis clusters Maintain and improve monitoring stack (Nagios, ELK, CloudWatch, PagerDuty) Implement and enforce security controls (SELinux, FIPS compliance, OSSEC, WAF) Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash for operational tasks Support CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian Bamboo/GitHub Actions Participate in on-call rotation for production infrastructure support Create and maintain baseline AMIs for rapid environment provisioning Your profile in short US Citizen with 3+ years of AWS experience Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Strong proficiency with Ansible (playbooks, roles, dynamic inventory) Experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production, including non-managed clusters. Hands-on experience with MongoDB administration of sharded replica sets Familiarity with Nagios or similar monitoring platforms Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis (or similar) clustering Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting Experience with containerization (Docker, CRI-O) Familiarity with Linux administration (RHEL/Rocky Linux/CentOS) A firm understanding of AWS networking concepts About this opening Preferred Qualifications Current Top Secret security clearance or ability to be cleared Experience with KEDA or other event-driven Kubernetes autoscaling Background in security hardening (SELinux, DISSA STIGs) Experience with ELK Stack AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification (LPIC II) Experience with Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Jira, Confluence) Why you will love Maltego Here are some of the reasons why you will love Maltego: Insights into the daily operations of a fast-growing tech scale-up.
