Field Marketing Manager

Fleet Feet Nashville is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to further our mission to serve all people and all paces in the areas of medical marketing, workplace and corporate outreach, charitable partnerships, and event planning. This is a 35-40 hour per week, full-time, non-exempt, hourly position. The role requires a flexible schedule, which can include mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As Field Marketing Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Promote a culture of inclusiveness and belonging.
• Ensure goals and objectives are achieved through effective use of marketing and branding strategies to build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Collaborate with store teams to manage in-person marketing and branding functions including but not limited to:
• Medical Marketing: Identify and connect with medical providers, plan and coordinate medical nights with stores and vendors, maintain contacts and relationships with the medical community, and appropriately staff and attend medical sales events.
• Corporate Outreach and Workplace Fits: Determine key partnerships and events in line with company goals, establish and maintain contacts and relationships with medical and corporate partners, and plan and execute in-store and off-site events including but not limited to Workplace Fits, Gym Weeks, vendor demos with gyms/studios, and health fairs.
• Charitable Partnership Efforts: Develop and maintain relationships with charitable partners, distribute Community Collection funds, and manage footwear donation collection and distribution.
• Support the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to expo and sales events for key Nashville area races and partners, sales events for key partnerships, and compile and maintain accurate records and reporting on all initiatives.
• Perform other duties as identified and required by leadership.
• Support all Fleet Feet initiatives, activities, and functions.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in marketing or equivalent retail experience
• Fundamental understanding of retail, marketing, and merchandising
• Strong organizational, critical-thinking, planning, and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all staff and external contacts
• Ability to strategically adhere to an annual budget
• Capable of managing projects independently
• Consistent, level-headed, and willing to take action
• Comfortable leading and directing others, both individually and in a group setting
• Capable of developing and maintaining strong relationships within the running community through personal involvement
• Person of integrity - Build and maintain trust from staff, customers, and the community
• Able and willing to travel, primarily in-market, including all Fleet Feet Nashville locations, local events and up to 2-3 out of state events annually
• Able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Valid Driver's License

Compensation: $17-$24 per hour
