Up to $26/hour DOE
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract-to-Hire

Join a leading transportation and logistics provider that specializes in freight movement, supply chain coordination, and distribution services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily logistics operations, customer communications, and reporting functions.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with large datasets and advanced Excel functions to support transportation and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, orders, and transportation-related inquiries
Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve service issues
Maintain accurate order and shipment records within internal systems
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis tools, to manage and analyze operational data
Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on shipment status, performance metrics, and operational trends
Collaborate with internal departments, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving shipments, inventory, or billing

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or customer service
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with logistics, transportation management, or ERP systems is a plus
