Upholstery Specialist

Join us as we empower the world to work out, creating healthier lives together. Prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam and material. Layout and cut materials; operate cutting machine Stage materials for jobs per work order Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area Box pads as needed Make labels using computer and label maker Check work for quality Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack Ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools (razor, wire cutter, staple remover) Ability to operate computer in order to run label maker Ability to effectively communicate in English (read and understand) Lift up to 5 lbs frequently, 20 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs rarely Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack Life Fitness / Hammer Strength offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time team members, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with 4% employer match; medical, dental and vision insurance, parental, medical and military leaves of absence, paid time off including paid holidays, company paid short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance; identity protection, legal services, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, employee discounts, and an employee assistance program that includes free counseling sessions.
