ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join its outpatient orthopedic team in Dover, Delaware . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient setting while living in Delaware's capital city, where you'll enjoy a relaxed pace of life, beautiful beaches, historic charm, and easy access to major East Coast destinations.
Position Details
- Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
- Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
- Location: Dover, DE
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (extensions often available)
- Patient Population: Orthopedic, post-operative, sports medicine, spine, and general musculoskeletal conditions
- Typical Caseload: Approximately 10–12 patients per day (varies by clinic)
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Treat orthopedic and post-operative conditions using evidence-based techniques
- Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinic staff
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license (or eligible for Delaware licensure)
- Current BLS Certification
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
