Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Active state or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Previous travel experience required - Meditech charting system experience preferred Description: Emergency Department Registered Nurse position available. May work in multiple locations. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency department specialty. Active state or compact nursing license is required. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC are necessary. Experience should include blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line care. Ability to manage and administer continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors is essential. Candidates will have experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing psychiatric holds. Preferred candidates will have experience with triage and handling suicidal patients. This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates should be comfortable working with interdisciplinary support teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy. Travel pairs are accepted but must have flexible schedules. References are required from direct supervisors within the last 12 months.
