Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
• Support an EPIC conversion project, including accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
• Apply independent and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making across a Med/Surg patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months (each work history entry must list the charting system used)
• Recent Cerner experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• No requested time off (RTO) — start date is firm

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
