Staff members are encouraged to bring creativity, patience, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day.Role Description The Young Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, responsive classroom environment that supports the development of children roughly ages 1–2. This full-time, on-site role is located in Wynnewood, PA and involves planning and implementing daily lessons, activities, and routines aligned with early childhood best practices.Day-to-day tasks include supervising children to ensure safety, supporting toilet training and self-help skills, facilitating play-based learning, and promoting sharing, cooperation, and communication. The teacher will observe and document developmental progress, communicate regularly with families about each child’s experience, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a consistent and organized classroom.Additional responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining cleanliness and health standards, and participating in staff meetings and ongoing professional development.QualificationsAbility to design and implement age-appropriate lesson planning and educational activities for young toddlers.Strong communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and professional manner.Demonstrated teaching and training skills in early childhood settings, including guiding behavior and supporting developmental milestones.Experience or coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a related field.Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and creating a safe, supportive environment for all children.Patience, reliability, and the ability to manage a busy classroom while maintaining calm and positive guidance.CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain, and familiarity with health and safety regulations.Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred.
