Floor Trader

You will split your time between the Cboe trading floor and DRW’s trading desk, gaining exposure to both floor-based and voice trading while developing the skills needed to take on increasing responsibility. You will work closely with experienced traders and brokers to understand market dynamics, evaluate trading activity, and improve the tools used to support real-time analysis and decision-making.How you will make an impact…Contribute directly as a Floor Trader at DRW, building market knowledge and trading judgment through hands-on experienceAnalyze order flow, trading activity, and broker behavior to identify patterns and potential trading opportunitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance tools, models, algorithms, and systems that support trading analysis, visualization, and risk managementPartner with traders and engineering teams to define requirements and help develop market-beating trading toolsMonitor market activity and communicate timely, relevant market information to other team membersResearch new market opportunities and contribute ideas to the teamTake on increasing ownership of trading decisions and risk as your knowledge and experience growWhat you bring to the team…A bachelor’s in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science or any related field and have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027A genuine interest in financial markets and a desire to build a career in tradingThe ability to make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong communication skills and the confidence to interact effectively with traders, brokers, and other market participantsA collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedbackPrior trading or financial-markets experience is helpful but not requiredProficiency in python is a plusDRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
