About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 15 months of Cardiac Catheterization Lab, critical care, and/or PACU experience in a hospital or medical center setting required. Pre/post-operative recovery experience required. Experience with groin radial site management required. Experience with TR band management required. License: Active state nursing license required. Certifications: AHA BLS certification required. AHA ACLS certification required. Must-Have: Work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of current Cardiac Catheterization Lab, PACU, or pre/post-operative surgery experience. Skills checklist must be specific to the discipline of Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or pre/post-operative surgery. At least one professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or equivalent within the last 24 months preferred. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in a post-anesthesia care unit. This role involves providing care for patients pre and post-procedure, particularly in cardiac procedures. Candidates should have experience managing patients with groin and radial sites. The nurse will float to assist in other relevant areas as needed. Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is required. First-time travelers are welcomed, provided they have at least 36 months of relevant experience. The candidate must be able to work during specified holiday shifts if the unit is operational. A valid driver’s license is required. Candidates should be prepared for a clinical interview before consideration for the position.
