Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children and their families.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) , ensuring they align with best practices and family priorities.
\n
• Monitor and document progress as a key team member, actively contributing to improving outcomes for children in early intervention programs.
\n
• Facilitate communication and support for families, providing education on strategies to enhance their child's development within a safe and nurturing environment.
\n
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations , ensuring all practices align with organizational standards for health and safety.
\n
• Develop rapport with children and families to foster a trusting partnership essential for effective support.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Approach to tailor interventions to each child’s needs.
\n
• Employ coaching techniques to empower families, promoting active participation in their child’s developmental journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on the youngest members of our community, specifically infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. Your work will directly impact their ability to develop crucial skills during the first three years of life, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. By collaborating closely with families and employing intervention strategies, you will help facilitate a nurturing environment that encourages growth and development.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• Current LCSW credential is required.
\n
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for local travel.

• Strong understanding and commitment to adapting to diverse learning styles for each child’s individualized treatment plan.

• Experience working in early intervention for a minimum of one year.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to Natural Learning Environment practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
