Job Description First Team Hampton Chevrolet is a leader in Customer Service—our award‑winning Service Department is urgently looking for a Service Porter. We seek an enthusiastic, customer service‑oriented individual to join our team. Job Responsibilities Move vehicles from the service write‑up area to designated parking locations. Return vehicles to customers after service, ensuring the vehicle is clean, in good working order, and thanking the customer. Monitor parking and accessibility to the service entrance at all times, making inquiries as needed to keep driveways clear. Shuttle customers to and from the First Team dealership. Transport vehicles to other dealerships. Perform any other duties needed to provide unequaled excellence in customer service. Job Requirements Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations. Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles. Minimum age 18 years. High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Self‑starter with proven ability to identify opportunities to improve dealership and customer satisfaction. High level of initiative and teamwork ability. Additional Responsibilities Adhere to company attendance and punctuality standards. Record shift start and end times, meal breaks, and personal departures. Maintain the company’s appearance and decorum. Follow the company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct. Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record. Working Conditions Position requires frequent movement—bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and entering and exiting vehicles during the shift. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
