RC Somnium is hiring experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers in Quincy, MA (02171) for dedicated FedEx Ground linehaul operations.

Earn an average of $1,800–$1,900 per week , starting at $0.70 per mile , while running dedicated overnight routes with no-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations. Enjoy daily home time, consistent weekly miles, modern Volvo VNR automatic trucks, and benefits eligibility after 30 days.

Pay and Benefits

Schedule and Route Details

• Location: Quincy, MA 02171
• Operation: Dedicated FedEx Ground hub-to-hub linehaul
• Schedule: Sunday–Friday operating schedule
• Shift: Evening and overnight
• Dispatch: Between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM
• Return time: Approximately 6:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Home time: Daily
• Freight: 100% no-touch
• Trailer operations: Drop and hook
• Weekly mileage: Approximately 2,000–3,000+ miles, depending on assignment

Drivers operate dedicated nighttime routes between hubs, supporting consistent linehaul operations while returning home daily.

CDL-A Driver Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Doubles/triples endorsement required before starting
• Minimum age of 21
• Ability to meet all applicable DOT and company qualification requirements

Required Driving Experience

Applicants must meet at least one of the following experience criteria:

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years; OR
• At least 5 years of tractor-trailer experience within the past 10 years; OR
• Graduation from a FedEx-approved driving school with at least 6 months of driving experience
