Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications, with proficiency in cardiac drips and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratios of up to 1:6-7
• Proficiency in cardiac drips required, including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Block scheduling available
• Day shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00–19:30)

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac drips (cardizem, tridil, amiodarone) required
• Must reside more than 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as a permanent employee within the last 10 years are not eligible
• Candidates currently holding an AL nursing license or who have already applied for one are preferred
