Operations Team Member

Pay Rate: $19-$23/hr Work Hours: Sun‑Thurs 9am‑5:30pm Location: 32819 SR 2, Sultan, WA 98294 Job Overview The Operations Team Member reports to the Operations Care Center Manager and is responsible for operating the retort, creating and packaging paw prints, engraving plaques and memorial items, and processing and packaging cremated remains. The position works with a close‑knit team within a care center. Duties & Responsibilities Operate the retort, create and package paw prints, engrave plaques and memorial items, perform quality control, and process and package cremated remains. Maintain daily cremation goals, producing cremains with an emphasis on compassion and excellence. Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation, make adjustments, and submit maintenance requests. Perform basic cleaning and housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Clean and maintain equipment used in cremation procedures. Follow safety procedures to protect self and others from hazardous materials or dust particles. Other duties as assigned. Education, Training & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 12 months experience in a service industry. Valid driver license may be required. Skills & Abilities Passion for pets—caring, patient, kind, and empathetic. Regular lifting/moving of 100+ lbs. Regular exposure to elevated noise levels. Regular exposure to elevated heat levels. Regular handling of deceased pets.
