Onsite Endoscopic Specialist - Austin In this role, you will provide hands‑on support for KARL STORZ medical devices—including hand instruments and state‑of‑the‑art video equipment—within assigned hospitals. This position collaborates closely with Sterile Processing Departments and Operating Room teams to ensure the success of surgical procedures. Job Function: Repair & Service Location: Austin, TX, US Work Flexibility: Field‑based (Hospital) Key Responsibilities Face‑to‑face customer support with OR, SPD and Biomed teams Video tower/system set‑up and support Inspection, repair, troubleshooting and replacement of KARL STORZ devices Monitoring, reporting, and facilitating repair/exchange transactions Transporting, cleaning/sterilization and packaging of instruments after use Trouble‑shoot video and instrument issues in the O.R. Requirements A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Experience in Sterile Processing, Sales, or another Surgical Technology/Medical role Excellent written and spoken English business communication skills; proven success in a collaborative, service‑oriented team environment Effective communication, collaboration, and time‑management skills Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task Proficient in MS Office; role requires working with Excel spreadsheets and reporting Completion of a drug screening for safety‑sensitive positions required Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree and/or CRCST certification Key Attributes of an Exceptional OES Collaboration: Build strong, respectful relationships with team members, fostering an inclusive work environment and driving process improvements.
