Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem  

$24/hour, plus up to $4/hour more for nights and weekends. Choose the shifts that work for you as a per diem CNA supporting United Methodist Communities' assisted living and skilled nursing residents across Northern New Jersey.

What You'll Do

• Pick up shifts that fit your schedule across our assisted living and skilled nursing communities
• Help residents with daily personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Follow each resident's care plan and document care to support continuity
• Make regular rounds to check in on residents throughout your shift
• Assist residents at mealtimes and with mobility equipment
• Build real relationships with residents and work alongside a consistent care team

What You'll Need

Required:

• Active, unencumbered New Jersey CNA certification
• Current flu vaccination (medical and religious exemptions considered)
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred:

• 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting

Pay & Schedule

• $24.00 per hour base rate
• Shift differentials: +$1.00/hour evenings, +$2.00/hour nights, +$4.00/hour weekends
• Per diem: day, evening, and night shifts available, choose your own schedule

Serving residents in Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties.
